Chatham-Kent’s red-hot real estate market continues to set new sales records
Chatham-Kent’s residential real estate market continues to run red-hot with more sales records set in September.
The average selling price soared to a record-high of $463,605 last month, up 46.5 per cent from September 2020, according to the latest monthly statistics from the Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors.
The more comprehensive year-to-date average price was $411,948, up sharply by 35.6 per cent from the first nine months of 2020, added the release.
The dollar value of all home sales in September 2021 also set a new record of $70.5 million, a substantial increase of 61.4 per cent from the same month in 2020.
