Dallas private equity firm’s portfolio company expands its Texas hospice care business
A portfolio company of a private equity firm co-headquartered in Dallas is acquiring a San Antonio-based hospice care company.
Pharos Capital Group said Generations Hospice Care Inc. will be joined with its portfolio company Charter Health Care Group. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Generations specializes in pain and symptom management, medication and medical equipment, and nursing care for hospice patients. Its sister agencies, Generations Hospice of Austin and Generations Visiting Practitioners, aren’t included in the deal.
“Palliative care has played an important role throughout the pandemic and we expect a continued and rising need for home health and end-of-life services,” said Pharos founding partner Bob Crants in a statement.
