Disgruntled ex-worker posed as former boss in hacking scam and sent email to client suggesting sex
A vengeful employee turned to online stalking of two former colleagues and a former senior manager by hacking into their accounts and sending abusive messages.
Mitesh Patel was particularly spiteful towards a young woman who worked at the same Leicester-based promotional merchandise firm, after she ended their brief, three-week relationship due to his “clingy and odd” behaviour.
The 24-year-old, of Great Glen, also secretly targeted a colleague he wrongly thought was the woman’s new boyfriend, hacking into social media accounts and accessing two, privately stored, semi-naked images of the man. Patel then sent the pictures back to him, before forwarding to staff members.
