Evers announces $250 million for grants to build Wisconsin’s economy
RACINE (WKBT) — Gov. Tony Evers on Tuesday announced two new competitive grant programs to help people across Wisconsin recover financially from the pandemic.
Wisconsin’s Department of Administration will distribute a $200 million Neighborhood Investment Fund grant program, as well as a $50 million Healthcare Infrastructure Capital Investment grant program for capital projects aimed at helping neighborhoods recover from the pandemic, like housing projects, transit and childcare solutions — plus increase access to healthcare.
