Good City Brewing commits 1% of revenue to eliminate housing barriers
Good City Brewing’s motto is “Seek the Good.” On Wednesday, the Milwaukee-based craft brewery announced it’s going to continue doing that by committing at least 1% of its annual company revenue to supporting nonprofits and programs that work to eliminate housing barriers.
“Good City was born out of an intentional commitment (co-founder) Dan (Katt) and I made to put down roots and seek the good of Milwaukee,” David Dupee said in a news release. “As we thought about how we can push forward our mission to Seek the Good as a company, we kept coming back to the importance of rootedness and calling a place home, keys to which are affordable housing and home ownership. We’re excited to focus our efforts toward supporting the amazing local nonprofits who are making it easier for everyone to put down roots and call Milwaukee our home.”
