Because one incongruous crossover wasn’t enough, clearly we needed an event with two incongruous crossovers. Pokemon GO’s recent foray into fashion—there have been quite a few, actually—is a partnership with both Gucci and The North Face, which are bringing high class camping gear to both the game and the real world, seeking to cash in on the fact that “Glamping” is now a completely-established concept and, also, to throw some Pokemon in there for good measure.

If you’re looking for it in the game, there’s good news and bad news.

The good news: the items are free, if a little strange-looking.

The bad news: They are only free at a select number of “Gucci Pins”, which are pop-up shops and stores located in a specific cities around the world. The list is sizeable, but it’s not nearly so large as, you know, the actual world. Here’s where they’re located:

I do not see Philadelphia on that list (I know, King of Prussia is on there, but I really do not feel like going out there), so not sure I’ll be picking one of these up for myself, either in-game or in reality. I’m usually a sucker for high-end Pokemon merchandise, and will confess to having bought more than one dress shirt from Original Stitch. This, however, just isn’t really doing it for me. I guess I’ll have to wait for whatever crossover is coming next, because they seem to be happening pretty fast these days. Maybe I’ll get those Snorlax glasses? Those look alright.
