MLA K T Jaleel arrives at the Enforcement Directorate office in Kochi on Thursday
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM/KOCHI: Former higher education minister and CPM-backed MLA KT Jaleel on Thursday appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Kochi and submitted “evidence” in connection with the agency’s probe into the alleged transactions of unaccounted money through the bank account of Chandrika, the mouthpiece of IUML.
Jaleel reached the central agency’s Kochi office around 4.30pm and returned around 8.30pm. He said ED will soon question IUML leader PK Kunhalikutty in connection with the case.
“I was asked by ED to come to the office to handover the evidences, including land documents. The agency will interrogate Kunhalikutty on September 16 and Mueen Ali Shihab Thangal on September 17.
