From being shuttered for weeks and months to closing for good or even flourishing, businesses — and their customers — have faced a lot of change and challenges.
The same goes for today, when we are slowly moving toward a return to getting back to normal.
It is a period of making adjustments.
Mill Valley City Hall has experienced that in facing the understandable frustration voiced by some merchants about the city’s recent initiative of closing a section of Miller Avenue and its pilot program of turning parking spaces into commercial “parklets” for local businesses.
While some have celebrated these measures as a desperately needed boost for their businesses, others say closing the street and taking away parking is hurting theirs.
