No one injured after car runs into Grand Forks Dollar Tree
No injuries were reported after a car accelerated into the Grand Forks Dollar Tree on South Washington Street Tuesday afternoon, May 11.
Police were dispatched to the parking lot of the Dollar Tree just before 2:30 p.m., where police say 72-year-old Gerald Frohlich mistakenly hit the gas instead of the brake, accelerating his 2013 Honda Santa Fe Sport into the building’s west wall, partially entering the building.
Police cited Frohlich for failure to have his vehicle under control.
GFPD was assisted by the Grand Forks Fire Department and Altru paramedics, according to a release from GFPD.
