Summer travel in 2021: Follow these tips
Have you already planned your summer trip? If not, you already might be too late to book the specific trip or destination you want.
Travelers have been making up for lost time in early 2021, scheduling trips after staying at home in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
USA Today reported that a new poll by travel insurance firm World Nomads suggests 66% of Americans are planning a summer trip. Of those, about one-third already have made reservations.
“I think summer travel is going to explode,” Dan Richards, CEO of Global Rescue, a provider of travel risk management services, told USA Today. “Much of the West will be approaching herd immunity, and people are going to want to travel.”
